Lavish Lacquer OPENING!!!

Hello :-)

So here is the BIG NEWS I have been hinting at for the past while! I AM OPENING AN ETSY STORE SELLING MY OWN NAIL POLISH CREATIONS!!!!!!! I started making polish as a hobby, but decided soon after that I wanted this to be my career. I thought about it for a long while. Didn't know what the right decision was. I prayed that God would send me in the right direction. People kept asking me where they could buy things I was making, and I finally decided it was time!

My company name is Lavish Lacquer and I am going to begin selling my polishes in an Etsy Shop.
I am beginning my business with a collection of 5 colors called The Polished Universe Collection! The colors in this collection are as follows - Life on Mars, Neptune's Rings, Along the Milky Way, Starlight Galaxy and Alien Party! . I am going to open my shop at 12:00 pm Central Time. I wanted to post swatches here first!!!!!

NYC New York Color® IndividualEyes Custom Compact

For the next few posts, I am going to talk about a few of the things I received in my Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox. 

Today I am going to dedicate my post to NYC New York Color® IndividualEyes Custom Compact. I received the in 0156-08 Dark Shadows Compact. 

So I admit- I don't wear makeup very often. But that doesn't mean I don't absolutely love it! And more than anything, I love to try new products, and new applications. 

So this compact comes with 4 Eyeshadow colors, a primer and an illuminator.

My first discovery, is it applies much better with a brush. The primer was pretty good for a quick use, but it isn't the best I have used before. What I love about this compact, is that it has everything to create a nice smokey eye look. The colors were very pigmented, and lasted the entire night.

The price of these are all around $5.00. This is a GREAT price for all that you get.

I am definitely going to get some more of these compacts, in different colors!

Fall Scents!!!!!

So today I am going to post something a little different. So as you probably know, I recently participated in the Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox. In this, I received a Bath & Body Works candle in the White Barn Nutmeg & Spice scent.

I immediately lit my candle, and within 30 minutes, the lovely smell had filled the 3 largest rooms in my home. I was so happy! Fall is my absolute favorite season.
The greatest thing about this candle, is you can burn it until the wax melts, blow it out, and the smell stays for hours! This is a great way to extend the life of your candle.

After using my mini candle, I HAD to go get more. I had a coupon for 50% off of Bath & Body Works 3-wick candles up to FIVE! So guess how many I purchased? :-)

I got 2 White Barn Nutmeg & Spice, 2 Spiced Apple Toddy and one Cinnamon & Clove. The Spiced Apple Toddy was an absolute DREAM! It reminds me SO much of a cinnamon apple pie baking! It is absolutely amazing! I am SO glad I got 2!!!
