Shellac+Zoya= Happiness!!!!!

Hey guys!!! Ok so I know I said the CND Fedora was going to stay for a while... but I changed my mind lol. Love the color, but it is more of a fall/winter color. I needed some brightness in my life!!!

Shellac comes off amazing. I soaked my nails in acetone for 10 minutes and it just flakes right off. When I use Zoya's Remove plus, it doesn't mess up the shellac... so I think I will be layering over what I have for a while.

The color I used was CND Rock Royalty. Another shellac!! :) I absolutely LOVE this color... but it could have used 1 more coats. With CND, the goal is to use very thin coats, which is sometimes hard because the polish itself is very thick. This is the only color I feel needs more than 2 coats. On my toes I did 3 coats and it covered perfect... did 2 on my nails and it looks good, but there are some spots that are lighter.

Also... this color was VERY hard to capture... It is a blue-violet color with a very small amount of shimmer. Which by the way is IMPOSSIBLE to capture lol.

The last picture captures it the best... This was very hard to show it's true color!!! lol.
I then added Zoya Pru. This was one of my first 3 polishes that I got when Zoya had the free 3 for New Year  this year. It is a very sheer polish, so I have never used it. I love the color it is over Rock Royalty. Zoya describes Pru as a bronzed plum with flecks of gold glitter and subtle purple and gold duochrome. This is very accurate, I just wish it was not so sheer.

Ok so now for the Brittany fact of the day!! I have been with my boyfriend Josh for 3 years. I love him with all my heart. He has been there for me through the worst time in my life, and did some amazing things during that time. I think he is here to stay :)

And don't forget to tell your friends I'm doing a giveaway at 100 followers!!!!!!!!!!!! and I have the hook ups to things that aren't out to the public yet :)

  2. Are you saying you mix the shellac with the polish? Or putting a clear shellac over the polish?I don't understand what you're saying.
